Most of the top Czech players have had a painful results crisis this season. However, in late February, an unpleasant elbow injury exposed his stalk, which kept him out of action for nearly three months. Nonetheless, thanks to a successful January, Barbora Krejčíková is still the Czech player of the year, ranking 16th in the current rankings for the Champions Tournament.
