Legend of the Golem escape game review – Gamebro.cz

Outdoor escape rooms are a relatively new and exciting way to spend free time for me. They’re great if you want to add some fun to your journey and like me you enjoy quests and ciphers and interesting stories.

Outdoor escape rooms are a relatively new and exciting way to spend free time for me. They’re great if you want to add some fun to your journey and like me you enjoy quests and ciphers and interesting stories. This time I decided to try the Legend of the Golem escape game with my family. And in this review you can read what I love about it.

Why did I choose Golem?

Certainly mainly because of the route. The game takes place in the beautiful part of Prague, in the Old Town. We sometimes go to Prague for a walk, but lately it doesn’t interest us anymore, you know everything. I was hoping running away would bring back that lost spark.

Apart from the seductive route, I also like the Golem legend theme. A bit of history and fun sounds great for adults and kids alike.

Management

First, I’ll review the technical side of the game. To play the escape game you need to download the app from Hunter Game, who developed the escape game (and of course also purchased the game on their website). The whole process is quite easy and clear.

Downloading apps and games is definitely a good idea to do early at home as it takes quite a bit of time. And if there will be more of you playing, I recommend that you download each other’s apps and then connect to the game directly with your phone, so that the task is completed better.

Otherwise, I like the app itself. I didn’t notice any major problems, the application and game controls are very intuitive, no need to learn anything complicated. You just turn it on and immediately play it without any problems. So definitely thumbs up for the app!

In-game tasks

Task! That’s all about it. I was playing with my youngest daughter (9 years), so I was looking for something less challenging. And that’s where Legend of the Golem comes in handy.

The tasks are what I envisioned for a family game. They actually challenged princesses to participate as well. It was fine for us but I can imagine that if I went without the baby I would find the game too simple and monotonous. Many of the tasks are about finding things in the area, and those who like challenging puzzles will not be too pleased.

Golem levels are a bit relaxed and easy, perfect for kids and quiet educational walks with something interesting on top. But don’t expect big brain-defying challenges.

Game story

That’s fine for me. You learn a lot of new things. The story of Golem is very interesting and the videos specially made for this game are impressive.

My daughter loved the story, she was very passionate, so I don’t think I have anything to complain about.

Conclusion of the escape game review

For me, the best part of it all is what I expected. route. The road is really very beautiful, one is bound to find new places and new points of view. The tasks are relaxing and great for (older) kids.

I will Legend of the Golem emergency exit he recommends especially for families and less demanding teams, who prefer to go out and have fun. It is truly a great relaxing pastime and a new way to have outdoor fun on the go.
