Minister Piotr Gliński insulted Tusk: that was the tramp’s reply

Minister Piotr Gliński referred to Donald Tusk’s Friday statement on reparations for war. “That’s how a homeless person takes things that are very important and serious.” The reason, Mr Chairman, is that the man who asked him is a member of the Polish community. And the Polish political, cultural and national community suffered from a terrible crime from Germany, which deprived us of all the opportunities for development for many years. As a result, we have lost enormous cultural and material resources, and our future generations have lost development opportunities – stressed the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Monday’s “Rozmowie Dnia” on TVP3 Łódź.

Deputy Prime Minister Gliński said that “because this man is Polish and, like all Poles, he is entitled to compensation from the German state, because it was Germany who attacked Poland.” Gliński argues that the United Right government was the first Polish government to approach the issue of reparations in a “professional and appropriate manner”. He added, it was preceded by scientific analysis and elaboration of reports for five years.
