Palladium will witness a world record attempt for the number of pull-ups in 1 hour

Prague, 2 June 2023 (PROTEXT) – The Palladium shopping center in Prague will be the place where Jan Kareš, title holder Man of Steel and world push-up record holder, will attempt to break the current world record for the number of push-ups in 60 minutes .

Attempts will be made on Saturday 3/6/2023 from 13:00 at the Palladium on floor +2 (Tasty Garden), in the area next to the escalator that leads from the entrance of the náměstí Republiky. In front of the jury and under the watchful eyes of the cameras, they’ll try to work it out 1131 strokes in 1 hour.

Prior to the official attempt, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Palladium visitors will have the opportunity to test their own skills in push-ups. The best will receive a small prize from the Nutrend brand. The partner of the event is Under Armor.

Jan Kares, a native of Liberec and the son of Czech mountaineer Miroslav Kareš, became famous as a mountaineer, personal fitness trainer, and holder of multiple world records in push-ups (in 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 or 24 hours). He is also the owner of a gym in Prague and is known for his approach to nutrition, which includes, for example, making healthy desserts for athletes.
