Reistad received a prestigious award – being named the world’s best handball player

A jury and website readers have chosen a winner. Norwegian national team captain Stine Bredal Oftedal finished in 2nd place, while Linn Blohm from Sweden was in third.

This is the first time Reistad has won the award. Last season, Nora Mørk finished ahead of Reistad.

Camilla Herren was named the best left winger, while Reistad was named the best left back. Oftedal won the award for best playmaker, while Mørk and Katrine Lunde were the best right back and goalkeeper respectively.

Heidi Løke (2011, 2013 and 2014) and Cristina Neagu (2015, 2016 and 2018) have both been named the world’s best player three times. That’s the most important.
