Taken to another world by Pink Floyd

When the hairs on his arms stood on end, he had to ask his mother: “What happened now?”

While I can’t remember the specific moment when I first had the goosebumps reaction, the first thing that comes to mind is us listening to Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon.” I didn’t understand what I was hearing, not until my mother explained that there are adults who have music workshops. I myself went to the Cultural School where we played with different instruments like drums, xylophones and plastic tubes like that that make sound when you swing them. It’s just interaction, but always improvised, and often quite messed up, ha-ha. Then I realized that my mother meant Pink Floyd also played with music. He used “Money” as an example because the intro with all money sounds.

But there is one song that I really like on that album. We just called it “Skrikedama”, of course “The Great Gig In The Sky”. When the hairs on my arms stood up, I had to ask my mom: “What happened now?” I think it was one of the first experiences I had where I didn’t understand what was going on, but was transported to another world. This is probably my first real memory of goosebumps.
