In the fall, the Mladí ladí jazz festival team will bring together two bands from the United States, who, in addition to the name Moon, are united by originality, unrestrained energy and the ability to easily cross genre boundaries.

Already on September 11, the American neo-soul star Moonchild will perform at the Acropolis Palace. A trio from LA, who won not only Stevie Wonder or Jill Scott, but also thousands of fans around the world with their unique concept of alternative R&B, neo soul and jazz with the domineering velvet sound of singer Amber. They will present the new album Starfruit, where they collaborate not only with singers and songwriters like Lalah Hathaway or Alex Isley, but also with bands Tank and The Bangas.

The second is Moon Hooch, who will be bringing fresh explosives from the recently released album of the aptly named Life On Other Planets to the Olomouc Tibetan Jazz Club on October 8 and a day later on October 9 to the Prague Acropolis Palace. The band, which brought even veteran Iggy Pop music rebels to their knees, can conjure up incredible sound adventures with two saxophones and percussion, entertain with original musical humor, and get crowds dancing. In Prague, our group Tygroo will also support them with an equally energetic performance.
