Eriksen was out for several months

Christian Eriksen, 30, will not be playing football again until April or May. This was confirmed by Manchester United itself.

It was a bad tackle from Reading striker Andy Carroll that put Christian Eriksen on crutches in Saturday’s FA Cup tie, which Manchester United won 3-1.

Carroll had a few bad tackles and was then ejected, but amazingly escaped them (see video window above) without a card.

Now Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will have to face several months without his Danish playmaker.

The club wrote in a press release that the investigation is still ongoing, but that Eriksen may be sidelined until April or May.

The question now is whether Manchester United will sign players on the last day of the January transfer window.

Erik ten Hag told Tuesday’s press conference that it was unlikely Manchester United would sign anyone on the last day of the transfer window.

– It’s hard. You can’t plan based on such bad damage. We have a strategy. We’re headed in a good direction, said the ten Hags.

Telegraph on the other hand, wrote that Manchester United would try to sign someone on loan. It must be talked about Marcel Sabitzer of Bayern Munich, who Chelsea are also interested in, according to Sky Sports Germany.

Manchester Evening News It has previously been speculated whether Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans could be an option, as his contract with Leicester expires at the end of the season.

At the same time, they write that it is highly likely that Brazilian Fred will take over from Eriksen in the Manchester United midfield.

– He played together with Casemiro in the Brazilian national team. This is not the worst team in the world, said ten Hag.
