In the following seasons, viewers of TV Nova and Voyo can look forward to new updates, in which 21 independent production companies participate alongside creative producers. “Last year, we offered our viewers a wide variety of projects that straddle genres, and we proved that our ambition goes hand in hand with responsibility, a partnership approach to respected creative personalities and young talent, and the courage to explore new paths,” said TV Development Director Nova and Voyo Michal Reitler.
“With the news that we are preparing, whether it is in the development stage or we have already started, we are sending a clear message not only to external creators, what kind of project is in front of our eyes, but also to our viewers. the stories that await them are fun, daring, and exciting,” added Reitler.
The first original novelty of the fantasy genre will be a five-part series on Voyo Fortune-teller. The story of the miniseries is set in the present, but will bring to life the legends of ancient Prague, including the Golem myth. This mysterious series will feature Czech acting legends such as Dagmar Havlová or Jaroslav Dušek, as well as the most outstanding talents of the younger acting generation, Josef Trojan or Slovak star Annet Charitonová.
The “ghost” series also promises mystery and suspense Behind the house in the woods with actor poet Miroslav Donutil in the lead role. For example, the comedy genre will be represented by family series in future seasons Dance directed by hit filmmaker Jiří Vejdělek and introduces audiences to a dance class environment in a typical small Czech town.
The two upcoming projects will take viewers to Croatia, the summer destination of hundreds of thousands of Czechs and Slovaks. Six-part miniseries I love you forever dad, in which creator Iveta takes part, will tell the story of Jaroslav Berger’s touching journey, on trial by fate, to seek justice for his deceased son, Dominik. A mini-series with a working title will be a tribute to Jiří Markovič, the recently deceased legend of Czechoslovak criminal science Magpies about the arrest of the so-called Spartakiad killer Jiří Straka.

One of the first documentary projects will be a series under the working title Because of the bear. The project, directed by award-winning Slovak documentary filmmaker Mira Rem, will present emotional stories full of suspense, but often also absurd humor, behind which stands the brown bear, which fills the pages of newspapers in Slovakia every year and divides Slovak society. . The three-part documentary will chart the career of singer Iveta Bartošová You know me a little behind him stands creative producer Matěj Podzimek.
