Throughout 2023, almost 600,000 spectators visited WorldSBK races. WorldSBK viewership increased throughout 2023 as more people came to watch the race. Nearly 600,000 spectators watched the thrilling action during the 2023 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship as Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) claimed his second title despite stiff competition from Toprak Razgatlioglu, who rode for the blue Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK team during his final season. As the new championship title was determined in the final round of the season, fans were anxiously watching the development of the standings.

Throughout the year, when the championship visited nine different countries in the world, a total of 593,369 spectators came to watch the race for the WorldSBK title. Averaging just under 50,000 spectators attending each round, it showcases the appeal of WorldSBK and the amazing on-track action, as well as the off-track entertainment and the opportunity to get up close and personal with your favorite riders at the podium and Paddock ceremonies. MOST ATTENDED EVENTS: Magical Misano and Ducati celebrate

BIGGEST GROWTH: huge improvements across events
Two events were held in 2023, representing an increase in attendance of more than 40% this year. At the Czech Round at the Autodrom in Most there was an increase of 45% compared to last year. And in Jerez again there was a big improvement compared to 2019, when WorldSBK visited there for the last time without restrictions. The season finale saw a 42% increase in attendance and hosted one of the best races ever as the championship’s top two drivers overtook 38 times in the final ten laps.

While Most and Jerez took the lead thanks to a huge increase in attendance, good news also came from other circuits. Throughout the season, other venues also saw attendance increases compared to before, with figures ranging from 4.4% to 15%.
