Rightist Unity politicians responded with anger to a scandalous video published online by the European Commission, which presented false and anti-Polish content regarding the Holocaust and World War II. “The European Commission and its chairman, Ursula von der Leyen, used historical manipulation by suggesting that the Auschwitz camp was in Poland,” PiS lawmaker Marcin Przydacz wrote on the X website.
Footage of the European Commission's Holocaust Remembrance Day scandal has emerged on the Internet.
Anti-Polish Actions
In the film starring, among others, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, lies about World War II are being promoted.

The recording recalls the names of the victims of the Holocaust. The names of their places of death appear next to individual characters. These include among others: Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, Lithuania. At one point we also see the name “Auschwitz Camp”.
The German camp is described as a place located in Poland. There is no information that the camp was located in German-occupied territory. There is not a single passage in the entire record that mentions German responsibility for the Holocaust.
Right Politicians React United
Right-wing politicians commenting on European Commission material is wrong and offensive.
Former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz highlighted the European Commission's manipulative actions that appeared aimed at removing the burden of responsibility from Germany for the Holocaust and World War II. Przydacz demanded a quick and firm reaction from Minister Sikorski before he published his work controversial opinion.
The European Commission and its chairman, Ursula von der Leyen, used historical manipulation by suggesting that the Auschwitz camp was in Poland. During World War II, Germany killed more than 6 million of its citizens. Most of them were in Nazi German concentration camps located in occupied Poland. The manipulation by the European Commission is scandalous and requires a strong diplomatic response. Why is the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski silent? There is no agreement to falsify history and slander Poland
– writes Marcin Przydacz in X.
Sebastian Kaleta, MEP for Sovereign Poland, also commented on the anti-Polish statements contained in the European Commission materials. He stressed that the Polish government must immediately react to this issue.
Mr. Tusk, there's a problem. Your friend is covering up crimes committed by the Germans. It is time for the Polish government to react
– Sebastian Kaleta noticed.
The real fact that the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp was built by the Germans on land annexed by Germany and under German rule was recalled by the former Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage, PiS MP Jarosław Sellin.
The Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and later extermination camp was established in 1940 on land that Hitler had incorporated into the Third Reich. Built by Germans in Germany. A reminder to the stupid European Commission
– said Jarosław Sellin.
