Imagine you are Usain Bolt, David Rudisha or Mo Farah and you are aiming for a beautiful world record. At that time, the park trnin equivalent is really looking for something and don't miss it, don't always carry a stopwatch, which will be the only one that regulates your steps safely.
According to many coaches and athletes, competition will push them to perform better. Floren Imbert also thought about this – head of the team responsible for the development of the completely new thorn assistant. Robot, you can seduce him.
Puma Beatbot
The Puma Beatbot, as it's called, is a small car that's reminiscent of a cross between an RC car and a shoe box. This seemingly simple design contains many infrared sensors, with which the Beatbot can track the blue water of the athletics track and ride smoothly at a speed of 44 kilometers per hour. There is also a set of GoPro cameras to record and then evaluate your performance.
Although the main TV of Puma and the new Beatbot is sprinter Usain Bolt, the robot can handle catching without any problems, so it can be used by intermediate runners and endurance athletes at the same time.
Control and construction
Controlling the Beatbot is very simple, you need an app on your smartphone to set the desired movement speed and distance. The track is also designed to be pocket-sized and lightweight, so the robot can be used without restrictions in everyday life.
A team of experts from MIT contributed to the development of the new robotics, and representatives from NASA were also invited. It turns out that making a robot capable of hitting rails even at speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour is not as simple as it seems at first glance. Eight more generations needed to be made from the first prototype, but the results were satisfactory and can be used in practice.
Availability
If the bag is cut at Beatbot, but not among Puma-sponsored professional athletes, you are still allowed. Mass production of this game would be very expensive, so currently Beatbot is only available in very limited quantities.
However, in the future, it is filled with sweat from the centers of darkness and Trninkov, and it is very likely that as time goes by, the first free athletic robots available to the general public will appear.
