They don’t want heroes in World War II? They should see the illuminations!

The reluctance of the management of the Second World War Museum in Gdańsk to profile Polish heroes prompted those concerned with national identity to recall Captain Pilecki, Father Kolbe and the Ulma family.

In this way, illuminations depicting prominent figures in Polish history and the Church are displayed in the museum building at night.

Thanks to a grassroots initiative, Captain Witold Pilecki and Saint were seen inside the building. Father Maksymilian Maria Kolbe and the Ulma family.

Reactions on the Internet

The situation became a topic of conversation on social media.

The grandson and the Marshal do not want to return the captain to the Museum of the Second World War. Witold Pilecki? Relax. We will do it for them. That is why the image of the Hero is displayed in the Museum building at night.

Bring Back MY HERO

Tonight, due to a shameful resolution of the members of the Pomeranian Provincial Assembly, our hero is on display in the management building of the Museum and the Marshal’s Office.

They don’t want it in exhibitions, they will display it in their institutional buildings.

Bring Back MY HERO

Today we will see Pilecki at the WWII Museum exhibition only with 🔍, and Father Kolbe and the Ulma family in general 😡 therefore, in the evening, we held an event where we displayed images of the heroes in several places in Gdańsk, demanding their return.
