Tomasz Mraz and Roman Giertych have already revealed details of alleged irregularities in the Justice Fund several times. Guided by a well-known lawyer, the young crown witness now has the opportunity to tell his story to the media. Opponents of the revelations of Mraz and Giertych do not have such a privilege. Why? As it became known to the portal wPolityce.pl, prosecutor Piotr Woźniak, who was transferred to the National Prosecutor’s Office, which is the “host” of the investigation, does not agree to this. What are Adam Bodnar and his usurpers in the PK afraid of?

Woźniak’s response to the extensive requests of defenders of Father Olszewski and two Justice Ministry officials, who were jailed with him in late March this year, was just one sentence.
(…) I would like to inform you that I do not approve of the publication of materials from the tit investigation file in any form. The Prosecutor’s Office (…)
— we read one sentence of Woźniak’s response to the request of the lawyer representing the arrested priests. Olszewski and two officials from the Ministry of Justice.
The defense would like to convey to the media, among other things: the contents of the indictment announced against the suspect Urszula D. (one of the Justice Fund officials arrested together with Pastor Olszewski), the contents of her explanatory report, and the contents of Mraz’s explanatory report.
Mraz’s appearance
Why does the defense demand the disclosure of some investigation materials? He has important reasons. These include: about the public appearances of Tomasz Mraz, who, according to the defenders of the arrested persons, slandered them and, in some cases, did not tell the truth. The defense also wants to know whether the prosecutor’s office initiated an investigation in connection with the disclosure of the secrets of the investigation by Mraz. This is a very valid question. Although Roman Giertych believes that there should be no disclosure, the prosecutor and independent lawyers have a different opinion. The first, as prosecutors Michał Ostrowski and Robert Hernand, even filed a report with the prosecutor’s office about the possible commission of a crime by Mraz and Giertych, which might involve disclosing the secrets of the investigation. The detainees’ lawyers also want to know whether Mraz’s defenders were authorized by the National Prosecutor’s Office to reveal the secrets of the investigation.
Unequal treatment
Another particularly outrageous issue is the case announced by lawyers for access to censored interrogation reports, according to the representative, sometimes “to the limit” against the allegedly repentant former director of the Justice Fund.
Since the beginning of the investigation, Father Michał Olszewski and the officials detained with him have been treated unequally, especially in the context of Tomasz Mraz and his public appearances with Roman Giertych. The fact of their arrest is a shocking example of the attempts to intimidate some political circles, not only in Poland. Father Olszewski’s account of the first tens of hours after his arrest, revealed by the weekly “Sieci”, only confirms this belief in public opinion. Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s public threats against journalists will not change this image.
