Olympic flame on the roof of the world – NRK Sport – Sports news, results and broadcast schedule

Trønder’s Julie Myhre and Anders Fjorden Ree have impressed early in the season and are both ready for the World Cup weekend in cross-country skiing in Davos. Heidi Weng stayed home – as did Kristine Stavå’s Skistad after a sprint crash in Lillehammer.

Myhre has finished on the podium in both World Cup sprints so far this season, and the 28-year-old from Byåsen will have the opportunity to repeat the feat at intermediate heights in Davos. Many things will go wrong for Myhre if he is not there when the WC squad is presented in the New Year.

Ree opened by winning the 10-kilometer free technical at the national season opener in Beitostølen, and in the four World Cup races she entered, she finished between 5th and 13th. This means she is also fighting for a WC spot.

In Davos, there is first a team sprint in free technique on Friday, an individual sprint in free technique on Saturday, and a 20-kilometer interval start in classic technique on Sunday.

You can listen to the race live on the NRK Radio app or via NRK Sport on radio starting Friday.
