The Smurfs are heading to the Czech Republic. A whole smurf village and educational-amusement park will grow on the Brno fairgrounds. If you and your children are among the admirers of the blue character from the most popular European comic which celebrates 65 years since its creation this year, you shouldn’t miss this visit.
On an area of more than 3,000 square meters, a very large smurf village was created at the Brno fair. The organizer, the JVS Group company, will complement it with an equally extensive amusement and educational park, which will bear the characteristic name Magický svět. The gates to the smurf village and amusement park are about to open March 10, 2023You can then visit them until the end of summer vacation until August 31, 2023.

The Smurfs, whose author is Belgian cartoonist Pierre “Peyo” Culliford, first appeared on October 23, 1958. The peak of fame for the blue gnome comic was in the 1960s and 1970s. Since the 1980s, the American-Belgian series The Smurfs has been broadcast (429 episodes in total). In 2021, a new smurf series was created using the most modern 3D animation technology.
The Smurfs – Wonder World for the first time in the Czech Republic
Fun and educational Smurfs Park – Wonder World brings the smurf universe to the Czech Republic for the first time, at a much larger-than-life size. The Smurfs, whose normal size is the equivalent of three apples piled on top of one another, invite children and adults alike right into their mushroom house.
“Smurfs represent a phenomenon not only in their native Belgium, but also here. Therefore, we are sure that both children and adults will enjoy our latest project. Smurf Village will occupy the entire ground floor of Pavilion C in the Brno Exhibition Center, in where until recently it was possible to visit the popular Tutankhamun exhibition.” said Květa Havelková of JVS Group, the organizer of the event.
The beautiful homes are larger than life so even adults can comfortably fit inside. “Thanks to the interactive elements, visitors will feel that they themselves have become a smurf. And they may not even want to leave. Květa Havelková invites you to the world of smurfs in Brno.
The magic smurf village on more than 3000 square meters of land will offer lots of discoveries and interactive games. Visitors young and old can find out which famous Smurfs they look most like and learn how to speak them.
Entertainment, games and learning. Who will save the forest?
Smurfs – Wonder World brings not only fun, but also knowledge. The mission of this project is to inspire children and their friends to protect the environment. Visitors will learn in a fun and playful way how to care for not only smurfs, but especially for our real forests. Together with the smurfs, they will experience an exciting adventure in which they will defeat the evil wizard Gargamel and his cat Azral and save the world.
Organizers prepare special educational programs for schools, which helps teachers discuss complex topics with children in a simple way. Thanks to this, children will learn about the need to protect nature, climate change or learn about the details of life in the Czech jungle. The tour to Smurf Village will end with a virtual reality flight on a crane. However, the Smurfs fun doesn’t end there!
One visit is not enough
Smurf Village on the ground floor of Pavilion C will be equipped with another floor, where visitors can enjoy various other activities. A huge Lego playroom, a traffic playground, a toy car race or the first and only track for retro roller skates in Brno.
“No one will be bored with us, young or older children or adults. A place where the whole family will have fun will be created at the Brno fairgrounds. We have prepared so many options that one afternoon will not be enough for maximum fun. “ added Květa Havelková.
