As the traveler Igor Brezovar said: Even a poor man can travel the world with his heart in the palm of his hand

Igor Brezovar has been a travel idol among motorcyclists for many years. But only now do people recognize him on the street, because he entertains them with his immediacy on the TV show Po jedno stopo with Martin Písařík.

In the journalistic profession, sometimes completely different people come for an interview than those you know from TV. However, that is not the case with motorcyclist Igor Brezovar (49) from Slovenia. It’s elements as open and cheerful as they are on screen. His website with travel photos sums it up perfectly: “A restless, lively, cheerful, phlegmatic person who rejoices in every day he lives. He loves to dance, sing, drink wine, beer, and sometimes all that smoked nonsense. He loves to be in company, where it is customary to joke when he talks. When he is on vacation, he works! On a normal weekday, when everyone else is sleeping, he travels. He doesn’t call it vacation, he calls it work. He is a great romantic and dreamer, he loves trouble and stress, and where there shouldn’t be any trouble at all, he found her to make her escape.”

He was also known among travelers for the fact that he never relied too much on sponsors, but had to earn his own money for all the trips. He usually left his motorcycle on his trips around the world and flew home to pursue his civic profession as a paper machine dealer. This is confirmed by the motto, which we left in cute “Slovenian” Czech: “Better to be on the street among good, poor, pleasant, simple people than to stay at home surrounded by money and wait for death.”
