– Squash is often compared to tennis. And the conclusion that most people come to is that half an hour of squash is equivalent to three hours of tennis in terms of the number of kilometers run on the court, says Rashid Younis.

Studies show that squash players can maintain heart rates high enough to achieve good conditioning effects, burning 600 to 850 calories per hour, according to Norwegian Health Informatics.
The fitness effects depend, among other things, on how experienced and skilled you are, how hard you push yourself, how long the ball is in play, and how quickly the ball is returned.
