00:01. Ukraine signs agreement with Germany to strengthen its air defenses
On Saturday, Ukraine signed an agreement with Germany on immediate measures to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system. Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands and Denmark are also expected to join the project, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced on Facebook.
At the meeting of defense ministers of the G7 countries, we signed an important agreement with Germany on immediate measures to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system. According to the agreement, the signatory countries will contribute to joint projects or finance their own projects aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.

Earlier on Saturday, defense ministers of the G7 countries meeting in Naples assured of their unwavering support for Ukraine and, as they wrote in a joint declaration, of “an irreversible path towards full Euro-Atlantic integration, including membership in NATO.”
