00:01. Zelensky meets with soldiers fighting in Kursk Oblast in Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he visited Sumy Oblast bordering Russia and met with soldiers participating on the other side of the border in Ukraine’s offensive in Russia’s Kursk Oblast since August.

The president, in turn, told the soldiers: “A long war is not just about motivating the people who fight. “We need to motivate the whole world and convince them that Ukraine can be stronger than the enemy.”

Zelensky met with soldiers from the 82nd Independent Air Assault Brigade, taking part in attacks on Russian territory, and listened to the report of the commander of this unit. He also presented decorations at the underground sanctuary, accompanied by Supreme Commander of the Ukrainian Army, General Oleksandr Syrski.

The president visited this region in northern Ukraine in August, when the Ukrainian army launched an offensive in the Kursk region.
