00:08. Biden: We don’t want World War III

We have refused to hand over planes to Ukraine because we don’t want World War III, US President Joe Biden said Wednesday during a press conference at the White House. He also added that the US had not agreed to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles.

Biden referred to earlier words from the Republican leader in the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, who announced that once in power, his party would not write “blank checks” for Ukraine.
