The former US president hosted Hungary’s prime minister for the first time since 2019, when politicians met at the White House with Trump at the helm of the United States at the time. The two politicians are scheduled to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas this week. Orban’s speech is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, and the former US president will make his closing remarks on Saturday.

Orban was accompanied by the Secretary of State on his trip to the US. “Hungarian-American relations reached their peak when Donald Trump became president of the United States. Hopefully we can achieve it again,” said Peter Szijjarto on social media.
