If you didn’t ride a “fichtel,” “stump,” or “pinck” in your youth, it’s as if you didn’t even exist. Riding the pioneers was cool, and it taught a lot of today’s bikers the basics of riding a motorcycle. The cult Jawa 50 motorbike greatly aided mobility in Czechoslovakia and even after the start of the new millennium it was the dream of almost every country boy. Can you imagine a modern reincarnation of this legend?
We have decided to present you modern fichtl at least as a virtual study. Working closely with our in-house designer Rostislav Prokop, we designed the modern Jawa 50 based on the iconic “Stump” single-seater model. It’s a 50 modern four-stroke engine that you can drive to work and lend it to your kids for an afternoon. Thanks to the automatic and limited top speed of 45 km/h, our Jawa will be included in the AM SIM group of 15 years. Come and meet our newest original concept.
In the past week, we have also given you a unique opportunity to see the Ferrari 458 Italia police without provoking it on the road or participating in a tuning meeting. Last year, the Italian supercar appeared in the service of the Special Supervision Department, whose police officers are authorized to drive 458 completed drives on the racing circuit in Most and a safe driving course. In addition, the traffic police do not use it just like that, but use it to monitor the usefulness of using confiscated exotic vehicles in active service.
Earlier in the week, we visited the new showroom of revived Czech brand Gordon. The small series factory produces great retro sports cars inspired by the Aero 30 and using the turbocharged engine from PSA and the gearbox from the popular Mazda MX-5. In the new showroom at Roudnice nad Labem, other Czech automotive projects such as Kaipan, Sigma or K1 Attack are also displayed.
