The first annual gathering of blacksmiths at the castle Lipnice nad Sázavou A gathering of craftsmen and friends. Master and student collaboration. Dear blacksmith fans from the general public, we would like to invite you to the 1st annual blacksmith gathering, which will be held on 15-17 July 2022 in the beautiful surroundings of Lipnice nad Sázavou Castle. The blacksmith meeting materials will be free forging presentations by Academy students, competitive forging themed Equilibrium, forging with children and exhibitions of blacksmith works. There will be a small stall selling handicrafts and drinks on site. The Lipnice nad Sázavou Stone Sculpture Center will open to the public with guided tours of the workshops, studios and exhibitions of student work of blacksmiths and masons.
Programs for the public: • Saturday 16/07/2022 9:00 – 21:00 competitive forging, free forging presentations by students, forging with children 10:00 – 16:00 Lipnice nad Sázavou Stone Sculpture Center tour • Sunday 17/07/2022 9 :00 – 12:00 competitive forging, free forging presentations by students, forging with children 10:00 – 14:00 tour of the Stone Sculpture Center Lipnice nad Sázavou At 13:30 the results of competitive forging will be announced.
