For a boosting dose, those interested can head to Bohemia | Health | News | Brno Gossip

The Bohéma Vaccination Center at the Janáček Theater offers interested parties the opportunity to be vaccinated with the fourth dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus. People can come without prior registration six days a week. The non-profit organization Podané ruce, which runs the center, especially encourages seniors to get re-vaccinated.

Anyone who has had at least four months since the first booster dose can come in for the second booster dose starting Monday. Registration will only start from mid-August, but those who are interested can get vaccinated now at their general practitioner or so-called walk-in center, which is a center without registration. One center that already offers a fourth dose of vaccination is the Bohéma vaccination center at the Janáček Theater.

Our company has been drawing attention to the importance of booster doses since last spring, especially for seniors, booster doses are very important. We also know that revaccination provides relatively reliable protection against the omicron variant, although it avoids more than the previous variant.” said director Podané roch Henry He’s talking. Nonprofits also plan vaccination trips to major cities.

On the first day alone, several dozen people came to Bohemia for a boosting dose. The vaccination center started operating exactly one year ago. During that time, health workers administered nearly 80,000 doses in it. In Bohemia, a counseling center for war refugees has also been operating for four months. About a thousand Ukrainians have used the center’s services so far.
