Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that in September he will present a plan to end the war with Russia to US President Joe Biden and his potential successors, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
Kursk Oblast is part of this plan
— he said at a press conference in Kiev, speaking about the operation of his country’s troops on Russian territory, which has been ongoing since August 6.
“Ukraine Victory Plan”
Zelensky called his project a “Ukraine victory plan”.
One of the directions, Kursk Oblast, has been completed. The second direction is Ukraine’s strategic position in the world security infrastructure. The third direction is a package to force Russia to end the war through diplomatic channels. And the fourth direction is the economy.
– he said.
Trump noted that he could not discuss details now and that he would convey the plan to Biden first.
“Success depends on it.”
“I think it would be fair if I first present this plan to the President of the United States, because the success of it (this initiative – PAP) depends on him. Whether they give us what we need or not. Whether we will have the freedom to use what is in this plan or not.
– he explained.
I think I will present this plan to him (Biden) at the September meeting. (…) Somehow, it would be appropriate to present this plan to Kamala Harris and Donald Trump because we don’t know who is going to be the president of the United States and we are very anxious to implement this plan.
– added Zelensky.
