On Saturday, September 3, Jarosław Kaczyński went to Nowy Targ. After the speech, the president of PiS began to answer a list of questions asked.
Kaczyński on war reparations: We will talk about it to increase pressure on Germany. They pushed it out
The first question after the PiS president’s speech concerns war reparations. “What will the government do next about this?” – requested. – Currently, this report, which consists of three volumes, must be translated very carefully into German – said Kaczyński, explaining that currently there is only an English translation of the report.
– If we want to take action against Germany, we must have a very precise German translation. It will take a while, and then the official records will be sent to Germany. This is an act of the state. But at the same time, we in Germany will start the whole campaign and expand it also to other countries – he explained.
– We will talk about it because it will increase the pressure on Germany. In addition, in the name of German mental health, I speak of the national soul, they should also know it. Because they pushed it out of their consciousness. Or they come up with the idea that the compensation is the western region, he continued.

Jarosław Kaczyński replies “opposition objections”: We do not allow theft
– Let me start with a brief answer to the accusations that are very often made against us by the opposition. Mind that we steal. Well, over these seven years, we collected PLN 828 billion more from taxes and public tributes, but not including what was collected for healthcare and pensions. Of course, some is due to GDP growth, and some is due to inflation, but mostly just because we don’t allow theft. And here’s the basic difference – Kaczyński begins and adds: – This is a cry by someone who has something on their conscience, “catch the thief.” known method.
– There was a blogger, someone told me about it, because I didn’t see it … Some young men who explained this allegation by the fact that the head of our state-owned company earns a lot. They do make a lot, I don’t question it, but they make, taking inflation into account, about 2.5 times less than their predecessors from that formation. [PO – red.]. And someone might say “too much anyway”. I understand, because from the point of view of an ordinary worker, one who lives off what he earns every month, it is indeed a surprising amount at times – he said.
According to Kaczyński, if salaries at state-owned companies were lowered, it would result in the departure of “professionals” to private companies. – Unfortunately, this is a rule of life – says Kaczyński.
– No one steals here, and of course no one steals freely. Whenever something comes out, we react decisively. Many of our members complain that this service has more to do with the ruling party than it does with anyone else. “This is in line with my recommendations, which I issued when I was prime minister,” he said.
