Brno: VIDA! Science Center
VIDA! middle can be found at the Brno exhibition center. More than 180 exhibits await you to explore the vast area on 2 floors. Releasing earthquakes or hurricanes. Test the maximum volume of your screams. Experience how blind people see and how to communicate with sign language.
Here you can carry out a series of physics experiments yourself, this information will definitely come in handy at school. For VIDA’s youngest visitors! the center has a section for children from 2 to 6 years. They can look forward to traffic playgrounds, ball tracks, archaeological sand pits, talking cars, giant pianos, learning about their own senses, long slides and water games with grinders, jets and whirlpools.
Liberec: iQLANDIA and iQPARK
In Liberec, there are two centers of discovery. four floors iQPARK is inside the Babylon entertainment complex and will entertain children from birth to about 8 years old. Here you will find games with water, a mirror maze, a fire station and a children’s crane. Puzzles, experiments and playrooms await kids here. A historic building from the time of Maria Theresa has been transformed into a fun place full of information and experimentation – The power of knowledge. The lower floor is dedicated to the history of Olomouc. And definitely not boring, you can learn about important events from comics and you can try on military uniforms.
On the next floor, you will test physical phenomena, experiment with light and darkness or examine the world under a microscope. Your brain cells will get a good workout with 3D tic-tac-toe, logical tasks, and tricky puzzles and ciphers. There is a small play corner for toddlers.
Pilsen: Techmania Science Center
IN Techmania You can compare yourself to an animal. How does your eyesight compare to that of an eagle? How well can dolphins or bats hear? Do your kids watch Déčko? Here they can play the presenter of this station.
You will also visit the underground. The Upside Down exhibit takes you into a world of mineral wealth from coal to gold. In the Space exhibition, you can go all the way into orbit.
