Krzysztof Luft once again demonstrated his ignorance of Polish history. After claiming that Israel could bill Poland for the property of the slain Warsaw Ghetto residents and many of the premises, he now maintains that Germany “didn’t have radar to detect Jews in hideouts”. He was immediately removed from his misery.
“Germany has no radar?
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the issue of Poles saving Jews – risking their lives – has again become a hot topic of discussion on social media and not only. Prof. Stanisław Żerko of the Institute for Western Affairs admitted in a Twitter post that if he had to live during World War II, he would be afraid to save a Jewish family for his family’s sake. He pointed out today that those who openly say that “in the event of an attack, they do not want to defend the country, accuse the Poles of not doing enough for the Jews during the war.”
What will you be afraid of? After all, the Germans did not have radars that detected Jews in hiding places. It is clear: like many others, you would be afraid that someone “kind” – a neighbor or acquaintance – would denounce the Jewish “master”, with you
– said Krzysztof Luft in response to the professor’s entry.
