How did Kamiński junior get such a promotion? He began his career as a board member in Otwock. His father was supposed to give him first place on the list in the local elections. Then he went abroad, specifically to the European Parliament. He worked in the offices of the European Conservatives and Reformists (including PiS), and later on the Parliamentary Budget Committee.

Mariusz Kamiński answered “Wyborcza” that he was not looking for a job for his son. And that he has the appropriate competencies – including: he graduated in law with a specialization in economic law. – For the last 3.5 years he worked in the European Parliament in Brussels as an advisor to the EP Budget Committee. He obtained the job through a competition conducted according to procedures, said the father of the main person concerned.

According to Kamiński senior, it was not a representative of the Polish central bank, but the executive director of the World Bank – a Swiss citizen – who recommended his son for the current position. The politician denied that he was trying to find work for his son in any way. And he emphasized in an interview with “GW” that any insinuation would be met with legal action.

What is the recruitment process for this person? Leszek Balcerowicz, former president of the National Bank of Poland, said directly: – Nobody has verified it. This interview was polite and the director couldn’t refuse. Acceptance occurs automatically, said the former deputy prime minister and finance minister.
