This year marks a quarter of a century since Mubea operated in Prostějov. The leader of technological innovation in the automotive world and a leading company in the Olomouc region celebrated 25 years of operation in Prostějov with a big celebration. The German family company with more than a century of tradition welcomed more than 3,000 visitors to its celebrations at its location in Prostějov on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
The celebration was attended by guests from the Olomouc region and the city of Prostějov, important regional partners and also representatives of cooperating schools. Both adults and children enjoy Saturday afternoons full of entertainment and drinks, as well as evening concerts. A great musical atmosphere is created here by Elán revival, Kabát revival, JAMR’s, cimbalom band and DJ Radia Haná.
Along with a rich cultural program, visitors can also be inspired to find employment in the future, as the company prepares production tours for them. Working at Mubea can save lives – during the celebration, worker Martin Dvořák was also awarded, who has worked at the company since its inception, namely 25 years.
Mubea is a successful company that is constantly looking for successful people. The company in Prostějov currently produces in six halls and employs 1,700 employees. The Prostějovská branch is still growing and is therefore looking for additional workers. “In this quarter of a century, the Prostejov factory has become the largest subsidiary of the Mubea group in the world and is also the largest employer in the region. The company is preparing further investments to expand production,” explains Miroslav Mikula, CEO of Mubea Prostějov.
Mubea develops and manufactures components for all major global automakers. It stands out for its unique expertise, which focuses on reducing the weight of cars and can produce high-tech products with high added value. (red)
