Champagne bottles used as detergent in Swedish lubrication trailers.

Sparkling water served to Swedes around the dinner table after the success of Norway.
This is how the greasers on the Norwegian national team tease their neighbors and their fatter counterparts. Because through the Norwegian dauber’s own Instagram account, the sting has arrived on the conveyor belt.
– It’s become too much. It’s not cool anymore. They have crossed the line.
That’s what Sebastian Samuelsson told NRK, in an ironic vein, after Sweden came in 4th place in the relay in Anterselva.
Because the account is really noticed in the biathlon circus. It has approached 3,000 followers in a few months, and the jokes are getting more and more.
– Sometimes I think it’s a little over the edge with the poor Swedes, says Karoline Knotten.
– Only the poles are getting rougher, the athletes may have to give up in the end, said Sturla Holm Lægreid with a smile.

So far, Sweden has not been given a chance to retaliate.
– It’s a little misguided on social media for now, says Norwegian lube manager Tobias Dahl Fenre.
The Swedish Biathlon Union has not created separate accounts for skiers on the national biathlon team, and they are still not allowed to touch athletes’ profiles.
– Internally between us, in the testing area and in the hotel, there will be some answers, said Fenre.
– I think they’re a little jealous, at least this oil trailer. I think they are a bit bored, said Swedish lubrication manager David Larsson.
- When Martin Ponsiluoma entered 3rd at the start of the chase in Anterselva, glorious champagne drops were used as follows:
Because before this year’s season, Sweden unveiled a new lube trailer, which is almost twice the size of Norway’s.
Nevertheless, this year’s big biathlon star on the men’s side, Johannes Thingnes Bø, just couldn’t hold back. When he first saw the trailer, he called it an Ikea trailer.
– Gonna bite us in the ass
While the Norwegian stainers took one joke at a time, the jocks were left in the middle. So far they have not been involved “stunts”, and they also don’t dare to do it in the future.
– It will bite our butts, says Tarjei Bø and continues:
– We play a sport where we have very little abuse, because things change so quickly compared to other sports. We dare not abuse strangers because we know that in the next competition you will end up even in the penalty shootout soon.
Both the Swedish lubrication manager and Samuelsson have now promised that the Norwegian team will get a taste of their own medicine the day Sweden beat Norway.
– If we win a relay medal at Oberhof, we will hit back hard, said Samuelsson.
The Biathlon World Cup kicks off with the mixed relay on Wednesday 8 February. You can watch the championship on TV 2 and NRK.
