Petter Belsvik finished as Stabæk’s coach
Based on dialogue with the club and at his own request, Petter Belsvik chose to coach Stabæk Kvinner. It reports Piercing on its website.
He has now moved to a position in the private business world, in his hometown, Larvik.
This is how the head coach described the situation:
– I would like to thank you after many years at Stabæk, after several different periods. I will always be a Stabæk fan.
Stabæk finished the year in 5th place in the Toppserien and managed to reach the quarterfinals of the cup.
Kim sports manager André Pedersen thanked Belsvik for the close, close and good collaboration in 2023.
– Petter is undoubtedly the right person to further develop and build us as we have done. Of course it is a shame that Petter is leaving after only one year with us, but full of respect and understanding for his choice.
– I wish Petter all the best with his new challenges and new daily life. I visited it when I traveled to Larvik. In Petter, I found a good friend and colleague, continued Pedersen.
Managing Director Jon Tunold concluded with:
– It is very sad if a club legend gives up on the club. Petter is Blaa and has played many roles at the club over several periods and is someone who will be missed at Brakka, said Tunold and continued:
– Considering the extra burden of traveling from Larvik to Nadderud almost every day, I understand Petter’s choice. I would like to thank Petter for the good collaboration and not least for the great work he has done for the club.
