Ståle Solbakken retained the crew that secured a 3-0 win at home against Slovenia on Thursday.
The only change to the team was that Marcus Holmgren Pedersen started replacing Leo Skiri Østigård. Midfielder Østigård was substituted at half-time against Slovenia with a thigh injury and had to miss the match against Austria.
Holmgren Pedersen came on against Slovenia as a right-back, while Kristoffer Vassbakk Ajer was introduced as a center-back. The Norwegian team on Sunday was the same one that started the second half against Slovenia.
This means Alexander Sørloth and Erling Braut Haaland will once again be at the top together. The two wreaked havoc on Slovenia and scored all three of Norway’s goals in Thursday’s game.
Norway team against Austria (4-4-2): Ørjan Håskjold Nyland – Marcus Holmgren Pedersen, Kristoffer Vassbak Ajer, Andreas Hanche-Olsen, David Møller Wolfe – Julian Ryerson, Sander Berge, Morten Thorsby, Antonio Nusa – Erling Braut Haaland and Alexander Sorloth.
The Austrian line-up is as follows (4-2-3-1): Patrick Pentz – Stefan Posch, Gernot Trauner, Philipp Lienhart, Philipp Mwene – Konrad Laimer, Nicolas Seiwald – Romano Schmid, Christoph Baumgartner, Marcel Sabitzer – Marko Arnautovic.
