Nossum himself told NTB about this, but added:
– I feel very comfortable where I am and relate to him.
– Did you apply for the job because you wanted to?
– Yes, I did, but I didn’t apply because I wasn’t happy where I was and turned away, but because it was an interesting position.
Sports responsibility
A job as a subject manager was advertised two weeks ago. There is a cross-country manager task section Espen Bjervig who has now been placed in a separate position.
– This will be a very important position for me regardless of whether I continue where I am or not. That will be my direct supervisor, Nossum said.
Bjervig has admitted that he has too much to do. As a result, subject manager positions are advertised. The position will have sporting responsibilities, while Bjervig will be administrative manager.
– A spoon
Didrik Tønseth has faith in Nossum in the new position.
– I hope it’s him. “I think this is an opportunity for Norwegian cross-country skiers to take it there,” Tønseth told NTB.
– I think he is a man who has shown that he has overcome the work of a head coach. He actually catapulted a bit into the head coach position. He has shown in the job that he has good professional competence.
The application deadline for the position ends on Monday.
