The dominant feature of Butky Park, which is currently under preparation, is a unique bird-themed children’s playground designed by a renowned architect. from Danish design studio MONSTRUM. On the grounds consisting of three football pitches, in addition to lots of green or fog areas, the multi-purpose area will also offer event concert areas, football or other team sports fields, as well as a pétanque area. There will also be a barbecue zone with the possibility of renting a barbecue set with stands from well-known local butchers, a kiosk with soft drinks and, of course, sanitary facilities. The popular 510 meter long roller skating rink has also been preserved.
Butky Park will open for the first time on Saturday, May 27. The opening will bring entertainment for the whole family from 13.30 until the evening. The event will start with a demonstration of the popular sport discipline parkour, magician Čary Kluk will definitely come, Čiperks will sing and a children’s musical performance will be performed by rap crazy princess Áňa, friendly prince Pó and funny dog Barney. Starting at 20.00, the main stage will also feature a free-access Tata Boys concert.
A wide variety of other companion activities will be available – be it scooter rentals, creative workshops at the Children and Youth Center, fun educational quizzes or activities to build children’s skills. Rich competitions and sweepstakes will take place throughout the day.
The Butky Park project investor is the owner of the Galerie Butovice shopping center – INVESTIKA real estate fund, which provided tens of millions of crowns for the implementation of the project. The motivation was simple: offer attractive products that would differentiate the “heart of Butovice” from other shopping malls and attract more visitors.
