Keep that in mind for a few months Polish Television website there are no published quarterly reports on how much broadcast time is allocated to, for example, individual political parties. Reports suddenly appeared on the TVP site. It happened right after we asked Polish Television to provide it.

In January, February and March of this year, PiS (including government representatives, prime minister’s office and president’s office) was present on TVP’s antenna for more than 40 hours, 38 hours and almost 5.5 hours respectively (March was the first day of the war in Ukraine). In addition, calculated separately, Solidarna Polska (almost 9 hours, more than 9 hours and less than 8).
In comparison, Civic Platform (including Senate Marshal Tomasz Grodzki), the largest opposition group in the Sejm, was shown in the same month for more than 10 hours, almost 8 hours, and almost 6 hours. The deal that goes against PiS is shown in January for 14 seconds, in February not at all, and in March for less than 8 minutes.
United Right 200 hours of airtime in Q2. AFTER seven times less
United Right’s broadcast time in the second quarter was almost 200 hours. For comparison, politicians Civic Platform in the second quarter took almost 27 hours of showtime, and representatives of Nowoczesna – 38 minutes.
The Polish initiative received a total of 15 seconds, and the Greens – more than three minutes. KO was present on the Telewizja Polska broadcast for more than 27.5 hours.
Other groups also receive symbolic airtime. Politician Kukiz’15: it took almost 3.5 hours, Left Together was on the air for 91 minutes, and Republicans – 165 minutes.
