President Duda – the consequences of next year’s war will not disappear

“We are living in dangerous times – there is a full-blown war going on beyond our eastern borders. There has not been such a war in Europe since the end of World War II. Brutal Russian aggression brought death, pain and suffering to an independent and democratic Ukraine,” said President Duda. He noted that this is a war that is still not over. We met mothers and children who sought refuge with us, fleeing the horrors of war. They are our guests,” he said President Duda.

As the president added, the effects of this “barbarian aggression” also affected Poland. “Energy crisis, rising prices, economic slowdown, uncertainty about what will happen tomorrow. We must be clear: Putin’s Russian imperial policy is responsible for all this. Unfortunately, the consequences of this war in the coming year will not just disappear. We still have to deal with them” – said President Duda. He also reminded that when applying for re-election, he committed himself to becoming president of Polish affairs and – as he assured – this is what he is guided by every day.

Poland and Poland are eligible for funds from the Reconstruction Fund

“Today, Poland’s most important issue is security, Polish security, security of Polish women and men. And I want to assure you with all my might that Poland is safe. I will do everything to strengthen this security in early 2023,” President Duda said .

– “Membership in NATO and the alliance with the United States is our military security, and membership in the European Union is our economic security and development opportunities. And we really need these developments after the pandemic and the aftermath of war. That is why I was and still am a supporter of a prudent compromise with the European Commission. Poland and Poland are eligible for funds from the Reconstruction Fund. We have rights over them,” the president said.
