Haaland in the team of the year in FIFA voting – Putellas and Messi were named the best player of the year
In the FIFA The Best award, Lionel Messi was named the best male player of the year. This is the second time he has received the award, after he also received it for 2019.
On the women’s side, it was Alexia Putellas who received the award for the second year in a row.
This award is the seventh time.
Erling Braut Haaland has his place in the team of the year, which was voted for by the players themselves.

PS! Haaland himself was not present in Paris at the selection, however there was a Norwegian feature with artist Angelina Jordan part of the entertainment.
