The leaves have turned yellow, fog is rolling across the meadows, the trees are covered with frost every morning, and Špinavci, the garrison of Sovinec Castle, is about to bid farewell to this year’s season of historical events at the castle. How else, other than at a traditional event called THE TEACHER’S WILL, OR END OF SEASON CEREMONY. Come and walk with them for the last time this year on the paving stones in the castle grounds. Since it was the weekend after school’s fall break, they decided to go on a Friday Sokolnické scavenger hunt on the weekend of the 28th and 29th.
Who can you expect in the fifth courtyard of the castle? On Friday, the great juggler and magician KŘUPÍNO KŘUP will visit with a demonstration of the art of juggling and juggling. KAŠPÁRKůV SVĚT puppet theater will present with the premiere of the new family fairy tale DRAGONS. On the fourth page, the FALCONY COURT will be built under the supervision of MONTY THE FALCON, who will be happy to start a conversation with you about the intricacies and beauty of the art of falconry. On the fifth page, he will perform a FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION with his raptors. You can also play a fairy tale for your little one which is hidden in the FAIRY TALE TRUNK.
On Saturday and Sunday, instead of falconers and jugglers, the amazing and famous Ostrava THEATER WITHOUT A ROOF will come to us with their legendary story THE CURSED HERITAGE. And also from the Kingdom of Wallachia, their royal theater and fencing group ALLEGROS with their heist tales ROUGHERS and CINDERELLA. Other courtyards will be filled with booths and stalls offering wood, ceramic, art and leather products. Also salty, sweet, hot and cold. And anyone who has skilled hands will be able to make something, for example a small candle.
Throughout the weekend, costumed tours will be arranged on three different circuits – the base circuit, the children’s circuit – for the laundry attendants and the outer walls and underground passages. The observation tower will be freely accessible during the event.
“We will open the castle on both days from 09.00 to 17.00 and the program will start at 10.00. All-day admission includes a yard show and one selected sightseeing circuit.
