With the Pamti nroda orchestra, consisting of young musicians playing under the direction of composer and conductor Matje Kroupa, Monika Naev will perform and other guests will present the program prepared by Pam nroda, Plzeň branch editor, for the Independence Celebration Ji Kunc.

Beer specialty Vetern

A special bottle of beer for the Independence Celebration was created Help Flow Experimental Brewery. This is a special unfiltered ten degree Indian Pale Lager (IPL) under the special name Vetern, which will be available at select bars during the festival. The special beer is made from the Veteran hop of the same name, which is a combination of HBC 586, Ekuanot, Idaho 7, Chinook and Triumph hops from breeders belonging to 10 hop farms called Yakima Chief Hops. The authors of the Vetern IPL beer recipe are Lenka Strakov, head brewer of Proud Brewery, along with Neal Engleman of American brewery Three Taverns. The brewery, based in the city of Atlanta, has like last year brewed beer according to Lenin’s recipe and is hosting a number of events in the US to celebrate the end of the wolf species.

IPL’s Vetern beer will be brought from the Proud brewery to Republic Square on historic military equipment, brewed one barrel at a time and served free to the public as a tasting.
