Poland made headlines in world media due to the scandalous detention of PiS MPs Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński, whose mandate was illegally terminated by Sejm Chairman Szymon Hołownia. The most important bodies noted that the president tried to prevent them from being detained by the police and then the police entered the Presidential Palace. Most of the reports published in foreign media, with some laudable exceptions, openly support the current ruling coalition and Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is widely quoted by them.
