Tomasz Wołek is dead. What do we know about him?
Tomasz Wołek is there journalist, sports writer and commentator. The man was born in 1947. He is a graduate of historical studies at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gdask University. In 1968, he took part in student demonstrations related to the political crisis of the time. He was active in the Young Polish Movement and “Solidarity”. He was, among others, chief editor of ycie Warszawy and ycie, and during martial law he published in underground magazines.

Tomasz Wołek has published, among others, in “Gazeta Wyborcza”, “Rzeczpospolita” and “Politeka”. For his activities he received the Kisiel Award in 1997 and in 2011 he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. In an interview with TOK FM, Tomasz Wołek’s family confirmed sad information about his death. It is not yet known what the reason for the extraordinary departure is journalist.
