On Sunday, the TVP Info station informed of verbal attacks and acts of physical aggression by unknown assailants against a television worker and a security guard. The situation occurred in Powstańców Warszawy Square, in front of the TVP building. In “Wiadomości”, among other things, when one of the men challenged the station clerk, he also spat at her. On Monday, Polish Television reported that the assailant went to the police and pleaded guilty. He heard charges of making criminal threats, inviolability and contempt.

Attack on TVP employees. Complaints about vulgar words in the material

The National Radio Broadcasting Authority received two complaints related to broadcasting the words the attacker used against TVP employees (“wypi *** olić”, “j *** “, “c *** u”). This is because they only sink for a fraction of a second.

– One complaint was filed against “Wiadomości” on 17 July, and another against “Wiadomości” on 18 July. The accusation concerns the emission of unspoken obscenities – said the spokeswoman for the National Broadcasting Council, Teresa Brykczyńska in an interview with Virtual Media.

The portal reminded that five years ago a similar complaint was submitted to the National Broadcasting Council. It was about broadcasting Adam Michnik’s words to Ziemowit Piast Kossakowski, asking about his brother (Michnik calls Kossakowski “sk *** ysyn”).

In the material “Wiadomości” about the incident in front of the TVP building, the behavior of the attacker is associated with the activities of PO leader Donald Tusk. “Donald Tusk recently announced that he would be forcing officials out of the country’s highest institutions, and his political allies stated that a powerful man would take care of this.
