Wiedesheim-Paul and Nypan excel in big wins for RBK: – Very good
In his first game since the start of the season, Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul opened the scoring in Rosenborg’s 4-0 win at home to Aalesund in Eliteserien on Sunday.
The Swede scored a controlled 1-0 at the end of a fine attack before the quarter wore on in Trondheim. Halfway through the first half, the same man was last in possession when Carlo Holse doubled the lead.
Earlier in August, Wiedesheim-Paul was brought back from his loan spell at HamKam.
– It’s so delicious. We fell a bit before half-time so I hope we come out in the second half at the same level as we started the game,” Wiedesheim-Paul told TV 2 at half-time.
Ten minutes after the break, the visitors’ ball hit the crossbar. Minutes later, Sten Grytebust denied RBK’s big chance. However, Grytebust could do little when shooting starlet Sverre Nypan increased the lead to 3-0 midway through the second half after another formidable strike.
16-year-old Nypan has made great progress this season.
– First goal in Lerkendal, and it was in front of Kjernen. Truly extraordinary. There are many thoughts that go through my head and many that I might not share with others. “I have a fantastic team around me,” Nypan told TV 2 after the game.
Leo Cornic made it 4-0 just before the end.
