The President of Poland, among others, took part in the panel. with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and representatives of the Italian and Turkish governments. Duda got lost at one point and couldn't finish his sentence.

Similar comments also emerged after Duda's speech on Tuesday. “With all due respect, I can no longer listen to the president speak English. Kind of embarrassing,” Wnet Radio journalist Łukasz Jankowski wrote on Twitter.

However, there is an opposing opinion that Poles are too concerned about how our politicians speak English and with what accent. “I want us to be able to afford it, just like the “old” Western society, says Michał Płociński of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily.
