The office of the President of the Republic failed to bring criminal charges against psychiatrist and former Minister of Human Rights Džamila Stehlíková, who questioned the operation and functioning of the Castle at the time of President Miloš Zeman’s illness. According to the police, Stehlíková had not committed a crime, the case was adjourned. The decision is not final, Puri wants to defend itself.
“Criminal officers examined the case and came to the conclusion that the case did not involve any suspected criminal acts. So they adjourned the case,” he told the server. Message List police spokesman Jan Daněk.
The police are handling the words the doctor specifically said to the chancellor of the castle Vratislav Mynář last March on the Czech TV program Mát slovo. “It’s terrible how dependent Mr Zeman is on his environment. Mynář manages him and it was only last year, when Mr President was sick, we saw that even though the doctor said he was unable to work, his office continued to work. . We don’t know if Zeman, the Chinese embassy, or Putin decides,” the server quoted Stehlíková as saying.
The doctor previously informed the server that last September 21, he went to the police due to Castle’s notice, in which he stated his position and supported it. Attorney Artur Ostrý representing Stehlíková would not comment further on the investigator’s decision because he did not have a police resolution to adjourn the case he had. The castle will file a complaint.
“A complaint will be filed with the public prosecutor against the decision of the police agency in question to adjourn the case, because the conclusions made in the decision are incorrect,” lawyer Tomáš Rousek from the law office of Marko Nespala wrote to the server .
Castle has had another dispute with Stehlíková, a court settling Zeman’s lawsuit last September over his statements about his health. Stehlíková mentions on his blog and in the media, among other things, that the president has a metabolic disorder due to alcoholic liver cirrhosis. The doctor stated in court that behind the defendant’s statements about Zeman’s health were good intentions – to save the president’s life. Zeman asked Stehlíková for an apology and one million crowns for the Endangered Children’s Fund. Court proceedings will resume at the end of February.
