The Good News series is very popular with viewers. Filming was stopped after only seven months, admits Denisa Nesvačilová

The Good News series premiered on Prima TV only in October 2022. However, Sunday 19/12/2022 was their last day of filming. It tells the story of a young girl, Bára, who is an ordinary villager with big dreams and plans. She happened to be an intern at Good News, which she admired with all her heart, so she wished she was this would be a step change in his life. But like any other news, there is a pair of major presenters traveling around the world. Sára Rychlíková and Jan Fanta played here.

Good News starring a real life couple

The three are complemented by sportswoman Gita, played by Denisa Nesvačilová. She also starred in another series called Pálava, where she supposedly met screenwriter and director Petr Koleček. This started perhaps one of the biggest cases of the year, where it was a real change from Denisa to model Aneta Vignerová.

Mirek Šimůnek, Jan Komínek, Alžběta Stanková, Tomáš Weber, Igor Chmela, Vojtěch Vodochodský, the aforementioned Vladimír Polívka or as makeup artist Míra Nosek. It’s somewhere between these roles that true love seems to emerge, between Sára Rychlíková and Vojtěch. The couple also starred in the competing Nova TV series Don’t worry about me.

This series did not live up to expectations

Television saw great opportunity in the topic. “We don’t need expert advisors on news topics, we’ve all been through television. We know him behind the scenes and we know how it goes on TV. Through a girl full of ideals, we would like to take a behind the scenes look at a certain program from the afternoon live broadcast.” he stated to MediaGuru Lenka Hornová, content director at TV Prima, at the start of filming.

Perhaps the audience is afraid that this is what it should be real picture of what goes on behind the scenes in news reporting. Humiliation, intrigue, overthrow, struggle for power and opportunity…

However, the series did not attract the audience in the way its creators had hoped. That’s probably a change from farms and zoos for fans of the primate series, and the intrigue and clues, when the main character gets cake in his face in the first episode in person, are just too much. In the end, after much deliberation, Prima decided to withdraw the series and concentrate on series that were successful with viewers. Perhaps that is also why he invited many stars to the Zoo in January who have left over time – for example Tereza Brodská, Robert Urban, Eva Burešová, Michaela Petřeková, etc.
