Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have confirmed they have signed Wolverhampton captain Ruben Neves (26).
The club reported this on social media. In doing so, the Portuguese joins the ranks of those moving to Saudi Arabia. The biggest transfer this season has been Karim Benzema, who left Real Madrid with an annual salary of just over one billion kroner in All-Ittihad.
“From Wolves to the biggest club in Asia,” the Saudi Arabian club wrote on Twitter about Neves.
Neves played at Porto before joining Wolverhampton in 2017.
In recent days, there have been persistent reports of Chelsea players being linked with Saudi Arabia.
On June 1, it became clear that Cristiano Ronaldo would continue with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC.
