The bidding war for West Ham jewel Declan Rice continues. Now Arsenal have increased their bid.
The new bid for midfield generals should total 105 million pounds, which is equivalent to just over 1.4 billion Norwegian kroner, reports Athletics.
The 5 million offer is in the additional clause.
The same website reported yesterday that Manchester City have made an offer totaling £90m for Rice. It was refused.
We keep up with all the latest transfers and rumors this summer here.
This is Arsenal’s second bid for a midfield gem. If the offer is accepted, it will be a new transfer record for an English player.
That record is held by Jack Grealish and Manchester City following his £100 million move from Aston Villa a few years ago.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in Rice, but they are yet to enter into a bidding war.
The midfielder’s contract with West Ham runs until June 2024, with an option for a year’s extension, but it has been confirmed that Rice will leave West Ham this summer.
